Welcome to Bay Area Doll Club

Club Purpose

The Bay Area Doll Club of Texas is based in Dickinson, Texas and the surrounding areas.  Our purpose is to help dollmakers grow in  excellence as doll artisans, educate the public and promote dollmaking as an art.  Our Club will function pro-actively on a research and resource level, and provide support for our members as they grow in their dollmaking skills.

2017 BADC Convention

Please join us for our International Spring Into Summer Doll Festival 2017 and Creative Artist Academy Competition in Houston, Texas March 16-18 2017.  We have lots of fun-filled days with special friends planned, and new this year, your registration will include a Welcome Party on Thursday evening, lunches for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Friday evening Awards Banquet, and Saturday evening Theme and Costume Banquet, the presentation of the Souvenir mold, and live Auction.  We are very excited to offer many top awards: including Bay Area Doll Club's Texas Trophies: Theme Award and People's Choice. We also have our Special Luncheon on Friday for limited amount of persons with Debra Anderson and Jane Lindsey. We would love to have you join us. The Festival will be conveniently located again this year at the Hobby Airport Marriott Hotel, 9100 Gulf Freeway, and Houston, Texas 77017.  

The Festival attracts doll artisans and collectors of all kinds with
cross-over markets for quilters and fabric artists, miniaturists, antique
collectors and crafters.

Come join us for the fun and festivities. Our Instructors and Teachers are working very hard to come up with new and exciting workshops and lectures.  

The Bay Area Doll Club is aggressively promoting the Festival in and around Houston, on television, in magazines, newspapers and on the internet.
